I wanted to get this board jumping, so I will start it off with a basic thread. When did you first fell in love with the idea of Brucas?
I am ashamed to admit this, but at the beginning, I liked the idea of Leyton. I didn't ship them, but I liked the idea. I thought that Nathan and Brooke was asses and I thought that Leyton was a great love story. It had more to do with the way Lucas was being so sweet to get her attention than anything else. After Brooke was seen in a better light (i think it was 1.08 or 1.09 when she set up the date for Naley and saved Peyton) I started to like her character and thought that she deserved happiness. From that moment, I cheered on Brucas.
I actively shipped them during the second season. You couldn't deny the chemistry between Sophia and Chad. But, what I like most about Brucas is the way they always navigate towards each other as if they souls are connected by a single string. They can't live without each other. Even right after they have broken up, Lucas seeks her out for her friendship because he can't live without her. He didn't do that with Peyton.
